Quantum Mechanix Star Trek insignia badges

Quantum Mechanix (otherwise known as QMx) have been releasing Star Trek insignia badges since 2009. Like many of QMx's products, the badges are highly accurate reproductions of screen used props, in some cases even using original production molds.

QMx have two different ranges: Full scale prop replicas (early badges had pin backs, but these were soon replaced with powerful magnets, allowing each badge to be worn without damaging clothing), and under-scaled pins (which continue to use pin fastenings).

The list below is split into those two groups, and then in reverse release order, with the latest badges at the top of each section.

Star Trek: Discovery novels

Page created 19th November 2017. Last updated 6th March 2020.

This is list of novels based on Star Trek: Discovery. Both the TV series and tie-in novel series began in 2017. So far books based on the series have all been prequels to the main events of the TV series.

The books are released in the large trade paperback format, published by Gallery Books (part of Simon and Schuster), with audiobook releases by Simon and Schuster Audio, and German translations by Cross Cult.

The novels so far released or planned have had an unprecedented degree of coordination with the television production, thanks to Star Trek novelist Kirsten Beyer's role on the series' writing staff, and subsequently as tie-in fiction coordinator. Thanks to this, the first Discovery novel was released near simultaneously with the start of the TV series, and the novel authors have been able to co-ordinate with the TV writers so that the works written during in the development of the series avoid contraction and have the character voices firmly established - Indeed the works were so effectively coordinated that details developed for the novels were even adopted back into the TV production.

This list is in publication order.

Star Trek: Discovery - The Official Starships Collection

Page created 24th September 2017. Last updated 28th February 2021.

Star Trek: Discovery - The Official Starships Collection is a series of model starships with accompanying magazines, published by Eaglemoss from early 2018 until early 2021. It is a spin-off series from the long running Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection, focusing solely on Discovery.

The series follows the same basic structure as the original Starships Collection, with each issue including a model starship, and a magazine detailing the ship from both an in-universe and production point of view. The models are larger than standard size in the former collection however (similar sized to the occasional "special" issues of the previous series), and are released monthly (rather than fortnightly).

With initial plans for twenty issues, the series ultimately released thirty-three regular issues, four specials, and two bonus variants. Future Discovery ships will continue to be released as part of the wider Star Trek Universe collection.

This list is in release order.
