McFarlane Toys Star Trek action figures

McFarlane Toys will start releasing Star Trek toys in 2017, after having acquired a license to produce toys from all the prime timeline TV series and movies. They have so far announced plans for two lines of action figures, at seven-inch and ten-inch scales. Characters currently planned are from TOS, TNG, and Discovery.

The list below is split into the two different scales, with characters listed in release order within those sections.

Seven-inch figures

Captain Jean-Luc Picard

• Overview: TNG TV-era Picard. Comes with phaser, and Ressikan flute (with box).

QMx 1:6 scale Star Trek articulated figures

QMx have produced a range of Star Trek characters as 1:6 scale articulated figures, starting in 2016. Each character is released separately, and features highly detailed head sculpts, intricately recreated cloth costumes, numerous accessories, and an assortment of different hands to allow different poses, and to hold all those accessories. Each figures also comes with a display base. Most of the releases have also been available as an exclusive edition when bought directly from QMx, including additional accessories. At 1:6 scale, each character is about twelve inches tall.

So far the majority of releases have been of TOS TV-era characters. There has been one TNG figure in the series so far. QMx have plans for many more characters from the TOS and TNG TV eras, plus Wrath of Khan, Star Trek Beyond, and Discovery figures.

Captain Kirk

• Overview: TV-era Captain Kirk, with a phaser pistol, communicator, tablet and stylus, and landing party utility belt. There are numerous hands to hold each of those, plus a pointing hand, and karate chop hand! The exclusive edition comes with a phaser rifle too.

Spock

• Overview: TV-era Spock, with a phaser pistol, communicator, tricorder, and landing party utility belt. There are numerous hands to hold each of those, plus ones for the live long and prosper sign, nerve pinch and mind meld. The exclusive edition comes with a Vulcan lyre too.

Star Trek Funko Pop! vinyl figures

Funko's Pop! vinyl range of stylised figures encompassed characters from a huge range of TV series, films, video games, and more, including numerous Star Trek characters representing multiple series. The first Star Trek characters entered the range in 2013, and there have been regular additions in the subsequent years, typically coming in a large assortment of characters from one particular series at a time. There have also been a few additional retail exclusive characters.

Star Trek Barbie dolls

This is a list of Star Trek Barbie dolls and related merchandise. Mattel released the first Star Trek Barbies in 1996, to commemorate the series' thirtieth anniversary. Later releases have also marked major milestones for the franchise. This list is in release order.

30th Anniversary gift set

• Notes: The first ever Star Trek Barbies, released to mark the franchise's 30th anniversary. A two-pack containing Barbie and Ken in Starfleet uniforms. The packaging includes cut-outs of Kirk and Spock on the bridge, setting a scene in which the four characters meet.

Mega Construx Star Trek construction toys

Mega Construx, previously known as Mega Bloks, is a construction toy company, which produces toys using plastic bricks and other interchangeable elements, compatible with Lego and other similar products. Mega Bloks have twice held a license to produce Star Trek construction sets, having produced a single set in 2004, and a range of sets from 2016 to 2018 (in which time the brand changed names).

So far their sets have drawn their subject from TOS and TNG, and broadly fall into four categories: Models of ships, playsets with figurines, individually released micro action figures in their Heroes range, and larger brick-built figurines in their multi-franchise Kubros range. This list is arranged into those four categories, in release order within each section.

USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D

• Notes: A large model of the Enterprise-D, and the one and only Star Trek set released by Mega Bloks when they first had the license in 2004. Released as part of the Pro-Builder range of large models.

Star Trek Mystery Minis figurines

Mystery Minis are a range of small (two-and-a-half inch tall) figurines made by Funko. They are released in blind boxes, in series of a dozen or more different designs, themed either on a single popular culture franchise, or pulling from many sources in sets based on genres.

Star Trek characters have so far appeared in three different Mystery Minis releases: Crossovers as part of The Big Bang Theory range, and in two series of science fiction characters.

Star Trek retro cloth action figures

Starting in 2007, Diamond Select Toys launched a line of action figures based on those produced by Mego in the 1970s. The "retro cloth" range is a mix of faithful reproductions of the classic figures, updated versions of some characters, and brand new characters not originally included in the line.

Typically the series was released in waves of two characters, featuring a Starfleet character with an alien. Almost all the characters are from TOS, with the exception of wave nine in the series, the only TNG characters in the range.

The series had regular releases until 2012, totally twenty-one characters and a playset.

Star Trek ReAction Figures

ReAction Figures are a range of three-and-three-quarter inch tall action figures produced by Funko, they are styled after the class Kenner action figures of the 1970s. Funko have produced figures from many different TV and film series in this format, including a Star Trek range which begun in 2015, so far focusing on characters from The Original Series.
